Yap Club - October

Love talking about your favorite books, movies, games, or music, but hate rigid reading lists? Welcome to Yap Club!

Yap Club is a low-pressure media share designed for you to talk about whatever you’re currently enjoying - no assigned reading required. Each month has a broad theme; you bring one piece of media that fits the prompt, share what makes it great, and leave with a fresh list of recommendations from fellow students.

THIS MONTH'S THEME: Spooky Season. Get into the Halloween spirit with your favorite eerie, ghost-filled, or haunting media.

How It Works

• Bring Anything: Books, graphic novels, movies, albums, video games, board games - if you can consume it, you can yap about it!

• On-Theme: Choose a title from your personal collection (or borrow one from Hutchins!) that matches this month’s theme.

• Low Stakes, Zero Pressure: You don't need to give a formal presentation - just share a brief pitch on why you like it or what caught your attention.

• Walk Away Inspired: Swap recs and discover new favorites across all types of media.
