RSOs are different from students meeting informally, such as a weekly game night with your friends, by holding formally recognition, formal meetings and receiving benefits (including a financial account in Lincoln Hall, funding from Campus Life, on-campusmarketing...etc.) from the College.

The name of this organization will be the Berea Entrepreneurship Club (BEClub). It is a student-led organization that exists to empower a community of visionary individuals with the confidence to launch business endeavors and drive meaningful change. We seek to be a resource to the student body by offering opportunities to learn how to create business ideas, pitch them, and earn money from their startups, take our members to business-related events and conferences, and have guest speakers in the entrepreneurship space, all for the member's benefit. This organization is affiliated with Awesome Inc., a startup incubator that exists to create and grow high-tech startups. They have many entrepreneurship initiatives such as Awesome Fund a pre-seed and seed stage fund that will invest in tech startups primarily in and near Kentucky. Awesome Inc Fellowship is a mentor-driven program designed to accelerate Kentucky's high-tech startups. 5-Across Pitch Competition is a pitch competition for Kentucky entrepreneurs.

The goal for the club is to encourage sisterhood, giving girls space with no male presence so they can truly acknowledge and self-evaluate their skills. The loop will hold monthly events with speakers talking about various topics ranging from behavioral interview preparation to prototyping sessions. The topics will equip the members with the professional skills required for the real job experiences to prepare for internships and research opportunities in Computing. GWC/ACM-W Berea Chapter will be a support group for women in Computing reducing feelings of isolation and inferiority to their male counterparts. It will also be an excellent opportunity to explore computer science outside of the classroom. The club will provide an avenue to interact with professors in the Computer Science department about how the college can improve the major, how they are feeling in the majors, how faculty and other students can be support systems, and plan for other activities.
